The lyrebird has a spectacular tail resembling a lyre. The Lyre bird is also noted for its ability to mimic sounds that it hears,either natural or man made!

Also referred to as the Yowie. The Dreamtime relates stories of the Hairy Man or Yowie. Scientists have mixed ideas on, if this creature exists or existed. The Dreamtime suggests that it did!

A billabong is a stagnant pool of water formed after a river or waterway changes course leaving a dead end. The Aboriginal word billa means creek and bong meaning dead.
